Mobile Education van start on 70Th Independence Day of India in Sector 9,10 Noida
On the occasion of 70th Independence Day at slum cluster of sector 9 & 10 Noida, the Mobile Education Van, initiative of Gautam Budha Society for social welfare,was dedicated to the district of Gautam Budh Nagar in the presence of Shri N P Singh, IAS District Magistrate, Shri Vineet Kumar ADM, Shri Makhanlal Gupta CDO and prominent persons Shri Rakesh Kumar, Chairman IEML; Shri D Kumar; Shri S.P. Dadoo; Shri Tanveer Ahmed; Shri Atul Saluja; Smt. Sindhu Ravi, CEO Niveda Foundation; Mr. Naresh Kumar from Wipro and other members of the welfare society.
DM interacted with the children and their parents, from the neighboring slum area and explain the necessity and real benefit of education to the M/s Niveda Foundation who are going to operate this project to ensure that the benefit reaches children who are deprived of main stream education and the target of this mobile school should be prepare, motivate and enroll a minimum of 120 children’s to mainstreams school.
The education Van is equipped with Audio Visual systems, Water dispenser, stationary and White board and other necessities of a class room. National Book Trust has donated books for the Mobile van. 30 children were enrolled today and a Doctor volunteer ran a medical checkup on all of them. Food supplements were provided to the children and formal classes will start from tomorrow. At this occasion
